For events covered by the scope of care in the Insurees’ home or workplace. In the case of covered events, at the apartment of a family member, acquaintance, or friend in the listed municipalities.

In which cases can I NOT call the Medicare ambulance?

In a life-threatening situation, when the distance between the Medicare ambulance and the Patient or the expected arrival time exceeds 15 km or 15 minutes, respectively
In case of traffic accidents
In the case of care that is primarily an OMSZ (National Ambulance Service) resource-intensive task within its remit
In the above cases, please call the dispatcher center of the National Ambulance Service at 112!

Types of care

On-site care
You will receive care according to your condition on the spot, there is nothing else to do.

On-site care and appointment booking for outpatient care
You will receive treatment according to your condition on the spot, and the ambulance unit will book an appointment for You for further control examination or outpatient treatment.

On-site care and delivery to further care facility
If, in addition to on-site care, additional emergency care is required, the Medicare ambulance will transport You to the Medicare Urgent Care Center, the nearest emergency center suitable for this purpose, or to a medical facility suitable for Your condition.

Service fee:

For an Insuree: Care covered by the Insuree’s Emergency package: free of charge

For an Insuree: Care NOT covered by the Insuree’s Emergency package: 38,000 HUF/person/departure

In the case of a pre-registered family member of the Emergency Insuree: The service is provided at a discounted rate: 38,000 HUF/person/departure

In the case of a NOT pre-registered family member of the Emergency Insuree: The service is provided at a discounted rate: 48,000 HUF/person/departure

In the case of acquaintances, relatives, business partners: Full price based on the current price list: HUF 68,000/person/departure
