during the endoscopic bladder biopsy?<\/h2>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Endoscopic bladder biopsy is performed under general anaesthesia. During surgery, a special device (resectoscope or cold biopsy forceps) is inserted into the bladder through the urethra by the urologist performing the surgery, with which a sample is taken from the suspected area. The surgery ends with haemostasis. After the procedure, a permanent bladder catheter is inserted to possibly rest and rinse the wound.<\/p>\n<p>Tissue samples taken during the procedure will be examined histopathologically.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading\" >What are the risks of the intervention?<\/h2>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As with any medical intervention, endoscopic bladder biopsy can have dangers and complications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the operation, the bladder wall may be damaged, which will be treated during the operation, or bleeding may occur, which will be quenched by the operator with coagulation (burning).<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid shape_divider_top-none shape_divider_bottom-none\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12 sc_layouts_column_icons_position_left\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2 style=\"text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading\" >What can I expect after the procedure?<\/h2>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the intervention, there may be mild pain around the bladder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The bladder catheter inserted during surgery is removed the day after surgery.
